HP StoreFront Manager for Microsoft 4.0 (HP Storage Management integration with MS System Center)

HP Storage Management integration with System Center has a new name HP StoreFront Manager for Microsoft. Along with this we’’ got a new major 4.0 version. The major highlight of this release is greater resource management and provisioning capabilities for 3PAR StoreServ systems in Microsoft System Center based environments. The performance and optimized the resource utilization on PowerShell based discovery and monitoring of HP Storage systems in SCOM especially on 3PAR arrays was also improved. Version 2.5 of My Script to Download All SCOM Management Packs with PowerShell

A lot of time has passed since I haven’t updated my script and Microsoft once again forced me to update it. Again they’ve decided to change something on their download pages. New MP: System Center Management Pack for SQL Server 2014

There is a new SQL MP and it is for SQL Server 2014 only. A good overview of this new MP you can find on Oleg Kapustin’s.  You can download it from here. Remember to read the guide first before implementing it.

Updated MP: Windows Licensing Check

Cameron Fuller made small but nice management pack that will alert you when your Windows Server is not activated. New MP: System Center 2012 Management Pack for Microsoft Windows Server File & iSCSI Services 2012 R2

There is a new MP out and it is Windows Server File and iSCSI Services 2012 R2. Besides the support for Windows Server 2012 R2 this management pack adds monitoring for Work Folders. You can download the MP and its guide from here.
