Using Optional parameter if not configured in Azure Monitor workbooks with KQL query

Azure Monitor workbooks are great way to visualize Azure data for monitoring and analysis. Although there is a good documentation on how to built them I would say that examples for more advanced scenarios are lacking in there. Recently I was asked a question about such scenario: “How do I set KQL query in a way that the filter for optional parameter in Azure Monitor workbook is not applied if value is not provided for that parameter?”.

PSWB – Script to run a search for required updates data in System Center Advisor

I’ve just released a PowerShell script similar to the ones released by Advisor team. The search in Advisor is focused on Required Updates for servers. You will need System Update Assessment Intelligence Pack enabled in Advisor. You can find the script here.

Web View Widget Management Pack for System Center 2012 Operations Manager available for free from code4ward

Code4ward provides for free a management pack for SCOM 2012 which allows you to configure a URL to a web page, which will be loaded and displayed in the dashboard widget.
